Can my realtor show me property that is "for sale by owner"?

Absolutely! We can show you any property on the market, including those properties for sale by owner. It is important to have your realtor when approaching someone with a home that is not listed on the open market because your realtor can give you valuable advise about the current market conditions, the condition and location of the property, if the house is priced fairly, etc. Let us put our expertise to work for you in every aspect of your home search!!

If I place an offer on a house, is it necessary to have a home inspection?

Some financial institutions require home inspections before closing on a house. Even if they do not, it may be a good idea to have one done to protect your own interests. A home inspector will make sure that every aspect of the home is safe and in good operating condition.

How do I get pre-approval for a loan?

In order to obtain pre-approval for a mortgage loan to buy a house or piece of property, you must fill out an application. When you apply for pre-approval, your bank will pull a credit report (to determine your credit score) and calculate your debt-to-income ratio. This will help the loan officer determine what interest rate you will be elligible for, and how much money you can afford to borrow toward a new home.
